Student Scholarship

Purpose
Promote diversity of students by encouraging lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students in their pursuit of higher education.

For several years, the Committee for Inclusivity has presented scholarships to deserving Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual or Transgender (LGBT) post-secondary students to support openness and understanding in the Church.   We send a message of encouragement and affirmation to let everyone know that people within the Church welcome and care for LGBT persons and ask for your support to help another LGBT student receive a scholarship.

Past recipients included undergraduate and graduate students attending Hamline University, the University of Minnesota, Gustavus Adolphus, St. Olaf Collage, Schiller International University in Heidelberg, Germany, and Argosy University. In these uncertain times, your contribution will have an even greater impact on the life of a student. Will you please help us continue this scholarship?
