Who: Everyone is welcome. This is an ecumenical workshop. Whether your congregation
is already Reconciling in Christ or you are just starting your journey toward welcome, this workshop is for you.
Since the decisions at Churchwide 2009, many congregations
have sought ways to be faithful to the scriptures to fulfill the welcome of Jesus Christ.
This workshop focuses on how congregations can intentionally
choose to become more welcoming to all persons, including lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) Lutherans. Planned
breakout sessions include:

in Welcome

Edina Community Lutheran Church has offered to host this workshop as part of their 25th
anniversary celebration of becoming a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) congregation.
Cost: $10 per person or 4 persons for
$30 – includes a light lunch
